I started Herv’s Worms & Landscaping with a simple idea: waste doesn’t have to be wasted. As I worked on gardens and yards across Madison, I saw how much healthier soil becomes when it’s fed with compost and worm castings instead of chemicals or landfill-bound debris.

Running a food scrap pickup service felt like the natural next step. By collecting scraps from neighbors and turning them into compost, I can close the loop — reducing waste while creating something that gives back to our local soil and gardens.

This is a small, hands-on operation. It’s just me, a pickup truck, and a commitment to making it easier for households in Madison to do something good for the planet right from their doorstep.
